Private Wealth Management - Sydney - Pride Co

It’s never too early or too late to take control of your finances and start planning for the future.

Your assets; be that property, superannuation, shares and/or your business, and the income those assets produce need to be managed well to ensure they can support you and your family today and into retirement.

Estate planning is another significant issue that requires a structured plan and thorough ongoing consideration.

Our Private Wealth Management team works closely with our clients, many of whom are successful professionals and business owners, to maximise and protect their wealth, and leave a legacy for future generations.

We have a disciplined investment process that actively manage assets to ensure they are appropriately positioned for the times. Our dynamic process factors in evolving investment markets, legislative change and changing life circumstances.

We regularly and proactively communicate with our clients and they know they can call us at any time if they have a question and we will respond promptly. As a boutique advisory firm, working with a relatively small number of clients, we pride ourselves on providing a highly personalised service.

Helping to answer those important
financial questions and keep things on track

Can I retire?
(Or, when can I retire, and what does retirement look like)?

We often hear people say they feel like retirement has suddenly crept up on them and they feel unprepared because they’ve been so busy building their businesses or advancing their career for 30 plus years.

Our goal is to help our clients feel confident about their retirement. In order to so, it is critical to spend time planning ahead and positioning your assets to maximise income in your latter years.

It is also important to know what to look out for and the right questions to ask so you give the planning process due consideration and explore all the options available to you.

Our engagement process typically starts with a review of your personal financial position, circumstances, goals and priorities. We then develop a financial strategy – or plan – that maximises the probability of you achieving your retirement goals. Our process covers cashflow management, investments, estate planning and more, and aims to set you and your family up for the future.

What financial matters should I regularly thinking about?

Life is full of change and uncertainty. When your circumstances change, for example; changing jobs, selling your house, getting married, re-married or divorced, or having grandchildren, chances are your financial strategy will need to be adjusted too.

As part of our engagement process, we review our clients’ plans at least once a year. We consider their personal circumstances and needs including estate planning, risk management (aka insurance and cash buffering), tax minimisation, structures and superannuation. We do this in the context of Australia’s ever-changing superannuation, tax and social security rules.

We generally meet with our clients every six months to keep things on track which is in addition to an annual face-to-face review. And of course, we’re available throughout the year to address any questions or concerns our clients have.

What should I invest in
(and what’s right for me to invest in)?

This is the most common question we get asked and it’s hard to answer because investing is so personal. The answer depends on your unique circumstances, risk tolerance, goals and objectives.

Our investment strategies are shaped by gaining a solid understanding of you, as an investor. We combine that knowledge with input from our investment committee, which is made up of six investment experts from diverse backgrounds. Our formal, disciplined asset selection process is overseen by our investment committee and our Licensee.

Depending on your needs, we may recommend a diversified mix of assets including Australian and global shares, global multi-asset fixed income funds, international property and alternatives.

Our investment philosophy is built on sound principles around managing risk for reward, meeting liquidity requirements and regular oversight.

Who do I work with?

We know our clients – Our Private Wealth Management team comprises of four dedicated specialists. The number of clients we work with is deliberately limited to ensure a personalised, high-touch service. We take time to get to know our clients financial situation, attitudes and objectives. We pride ourselves on keeping track of their affairs, even as their circumstances change and evolve.
